Policies, Refunds and Make-ups
***NEW***April 8th 2022. Vaccinations and proof of vaccination status are no longer required for class.

***Please do NOT come to class if you are feeling ill. If you show up and are visibly ill, I’m sorry, but I’ll send you home.
Payments for classes are either made online at the time of registration OR made via etransfer or cheque. Information about payment will be in your confirmation email. All payments are due at the time of registration. You are not registered for class until your payment is received.
Refunds (minus a $35 administration fee) are issued prior to class, if and only if, we can fill your place in class and have ample time (minimum of 7 business days) to do so.
A refund of 50% will be issued only if notice of your cancellation occurs 3 days before class starts.
Class fees are non-refundable once class has started.
If something unexpected happens that makes it impossible for you to continue with class we will do our best to accommodate you in an upcoming class, space permitting (usually not ascertained until the day that the class begins).
A classroom atmosphere is not always the best environment for all dogs. If after starting class, we find that your dog is struggling with arousal and reactivity issues in class, we will do our best to accommodate you and you will be referred to other trainers for private sessions to get your dog’s issues under control. A partial refund may be issued depending on the circumstances.
For these reasons please think seriously about your schedule and commitment to training, and your dog’s suitability for group classes before enrolling in a Clever Canine class.
Make-up sessions are not possible. Making up a class is not an option. For this reason please think seriously about your schedule before enrolling.
On-going private lessons are no longer available BUT a 1/2 hour private session can be booked to make up a missed class or classes, at a cost of $50.00
